i had my first peek of this movie when i was on a trip from s'pore goin home but sadly i didn't get to the ending...when the stewardess said... "shortly we will be landing". :-( Luckily i had the chance of watching it again but this time with no sub-titles... It wasn't really the best film i've seen by far, it's a sort of "notting hill" kind of love story, feel-good movie. It's about two men in search of their happiness. They're both french, both divorced, both almost lost and about to give up on love and one day decided to live in london. i already forgot the name of this character who was played by Pascal Elbe. Let's call him, Mr. A: he is an architect who is super o.c (obsessive compulsive) most esp.with his sponge but a doting and caring father. On the other one we have Monsieur Pompidou, he's the owner i think of this english lil quaint bookshop. he is laid back,very relaxed in his life and he's afraid of heights. One day, by Mr. Pompidou's vite-decision, they decided to be more than neighbors, they decided to live in one roof while both of them taking turns in cleaning the dishes, fetching the kids to school, etc. As the story continues, so does their problems started, costing their friendship to be put into test , as for the petty fights and misunderstandings... well, this is a story that all goes well and ends well. So, we have a happy ending to it. if you want to watch a not so intellectual or horrific kind of flick then you'll like this one. this is also based on a book written by a famous french writer who also released a movie called Just Like Heaven- starring reese witherspoon.
